How we protect you

Six guarantees, audited and on-chain.

  • Custody

    Self-custody by default

Your funds never leave your wallet. SafeTap auto-converts USDC at the point of sale — there's no balance for us to lose, freeze, or run with.

  • Transparency

    Auditable on-chain

Every settlement is a public transaction. Verify the flow of funds yourself — no faith required.

  • Compliance

    SOC 2 Type II

Independently audited security controls. Our latest report is available on request to enterprise customers.

  • Controls

    Card-level controls

Freeze instantly, set per-merchant limits, and revoke a virtual card from your phone — no support call needed.

  • Fraud

    Visa Zero-Liability

Fraudulent charges are reimbursed. 24/7 monitoring catches anomalies before you see them.

  • Privacy

    Privacy-preserving KYC

ID checks happen locally on-device where possible. We discard images after verification.

Common questions

What people actually want to know.

  • No. Your USDC stays in your wallet under your keys. SafeTap can only initiate a swap at the moment you tap — and only with your prior authorization.

  • Your funds are unaffected. They were never with us. You keep your wallet; you can revoke our permissions from your wallet app at any time.

  • Only what's required by regulation (name, DOB, residency). Photos of your ID are deleted after KYC completes. We never sell or share this data.

  • Cards carry Visa Zero-Liability for unauthorized use. If something looks off, we'll pause the card and reach out before any disputed charge settles.
